    Sierra sportsman soft point question?

    If I load the serria 158gr 38cal sportsman softpoint bullets to about 1,250 to 1,300fps do you think they will expand much?

    Bought some soft points and some of the tips seem uneven

    I just bought some Federal Fusion 165gr to test in my .308 and I noticed many of the bullets have uneven pieces of lead sticking off of the tip.     Will an ak (7.62x39) with hollow points or soft nose perform comparible with fmj 5.56 and it's fragmentation, while providing more mass? Just currious as I had a discussion over the classic where does each caliber excel discussion yesterday. Also if you have any knowledge with SP or jhp 5.56...

    .223 Rem Bullet is Best? Soft Point or FMJ

    What is your experience in regards to target accuracy, which bullet performs best? Hornady 55gr Soft Point with Cannulure #2266 Hornady 55gr FMJBT with Cannulure #2267 Or is the difference too small to see at 100 to 200 yards? Lots of good bullet sales this weekend!
