sr40c

I'm looking to replace the guide rod/springs on a sr40c, and wanted some first-hand advice on what weight to purchase. They say factory standard is 16lbs., but would an 18lb. setup make for less felt recoil with standard pressure ammo...or only result in FTEs and more issues than it's worth...
