the screw on the left girp kept coming aloose. Finally one day i ignored it and continued to fire till the grip fell off. Local guns stores dont have the screw. Im wondering if a alumminum/metal screw from home depot would be fine. The other screw appears to be plastic. Not sure if ill even be able to find that small a screw but i sure dont want ot order it online and pay $5 shipping for a $.05 part.

Short-term advice:
Take it to a gunsmith, he'll have a screw that will work and can verify that the gun is in working order. The first time I took the grips off my Bersa .380 something got loose in the trigger/safety linkage and the trigger safety was disabled.

Medium-range advice:
Use blue Locktite to keep the grip screws in. Don't use red.

Long-range advice:
Please, please don't allow any part of a firearm to fail. If something's not right, don't use it, don't carry it, don't fire it. Take it to a gunsmith or at least a knowledgeable gun shop.

This is an inherent problem with the bersa.:banghead: One of the reasons I sold mine. Locktite is the answer.

Yes it a problem on the Bersa and a drop of the blue will cure. After a couple 100 rounds my RugerMKII screws were loose and same with my taurus other day . Guess not just Bersa.
