I do not think the Extrema ii is the ultimate gun. I owned two of them and they both would not eject some dove loads. They would eject a few then not on a couple. My second extrema lasted long enough for me to get to town to trade it off. Not going that rout again. I am not so sure you wouldn't have better luck with a Mossberg.

Well there you go...I shoot light target loads through mine all day long shooting 5 stand and have never had an issue. Better luck with a Mossberg? Please....

There is no better 3.5" chambered shotgun at shooting light loads and that includes Benelli's.

I use mine for skeet shooting more than anything else, NEVER had a failure (of any kind) yet!

I have found that many folks doing the complaining didn't read the owners Manual telling you to feed a few boxes of higher power shell before expecting low power shells to function properly.

Couldn't agree more Deep, I was just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. I use mine primarily for Duck and Geese shooting 3" & 3.5" loads and it cycles them like butter....

I have used it for Dove hunting, but prefer my lighter 391 Urika for that purpose. As stated above and it has performed flawlessly in all respects in any application. I don't expect flawless results with light 2.75" shells, but it has surpassed my expectations in all regards.

Worth it to me. My Benelli M2 is a hoot. Very nice piece, make sure you take it apart and look at the bolt and everything, quality stuff, very well made.

I got a SBE and it shoots everything I want. If it was the last shotgun I could own I would not be bothered. It did take a little breakin before it ran the lighter trap loads Count me as a Benelli fan boy and yes 1k for a shotgun is well within reason.

well I paid $1400 for my SBEII and I think it was the smartest igun investmenttment that I have made. sure it a lot of money but hopefully it will be the last shotgun I buy. mine has never had issues with lite 2 3/4 loads and it is great on geese and turkeys with 3 1/2 loads. as far as my own personal opinions it is the be all end all shotgun for hunting. now sporting scatterguns is a different story
