10/22 Aftermarket Magazines Clearance

Why do some aftermarket magazines fit correctly and some have clearances issues? According to Ruger’s website there are no serial number differences, only 1 magazine option available for all 10\22 models.

Quality control, or lack thereof.

I've had very good luck with all the after market 10/22 mags but only *after* I put in the Volguartson "exact edge" extractor.

I never had any problems with my butler creek hot lips mags, but recently i took apart my rifle and i seem to be having trouble getting the mag to lock into place, only tried a few times, idk what the problem was, didn't really look into it.
