I’m developing a load for my 10mm gen 3 Glock 20 sf. I e worked up to 9 gr of unique using 155 gr xtp. Crimp is .420-.421 and oal is 1.260-1.261. Chronograph at 1388 FPS from 8 feet. Inside of casing after firing looks good. It’s functioning good and I don’t think I’m pushing it too awful bad but I’d really like to hear from those that are more familiar with this type of combination. Casings show a little bulge but I understand that is common and normal with these chambers. Please advise

Are they fully supported chambers? FYI, there are better powders out there than Unique for 10mm. Like 800X and BlueDot. But in the times we are in right now, I can understand using what you have that books as safe. Alliant lists 8.5gr Unique for a 155 Gold Dot. Doesn’t list Unique with other 155gr bullets. It also doesn’t say if it’s a max load or not. So basically, without my manuals in front of me, all I can tell you is Alliant’s website sucks. Unique can have severe pressure spikes. I’d be very leery of going over max with that powder especially.

I don’t want to max out the load per say. Just wanted a good stout load for hogs. For reference Using 7.5 grains in my 40 s&w. With the same 155 xtp at 1237 FPS. Also for reference I have some underwood 165 jhp 10mm factory ammo rated at 1400 FPS that chronograph 1248 FPS. Powder availability is super slim. I have some hp-38 that I haven’t tried as I have been happy with unique. I did see some longshot the other day and I’ve heard it is a great pistol powder as well.

Older Generation Glock barrels are not fully supported, hence the “Glocksmiles”.

If that’s the only bullets you have to use them so be it but I prefer 180’ or 200’s for field carry. May give you better penetration on them hogs.

Pictures would be nice. What you consider a "little bulge" may be a blowout waiting to happen to a more experienced set of eyes.

All I've heard in regards to Gen 3 and prior Glocks is the chamber support isn't good and the Gen 4's and later are better.

I agree with the post above, 155 is light for 10mm and hogs. For me, I load only 180 and 200 grain bullets for 10mm, the 200gr XTP's don't explode like the lighter bullets do at 10mm velocities, thus better penetration.

You’re fine with that load. I’ve done quite a bit with unique in my G 20. The previous posts have good advice.
