I have a question regarding a conversion of the G20 (10mm) to 40sw.
I already have a G35 which is the 40sw and I was wondering if I bought the G20 could I use my G35 barrel and magazines in it. I've wanted a 10mm for a while but with the price of ammo I would like to shoot the G20 with cheaper 40sw ammo until I needed the extra power given by the 10mm at which time I could switch to the 10mm barrel and magazines.
Thanks for your help... Mike:confused:

Im pretty sure the outside diameter is larger for a stock 10mm barrel than a 40 barrel YOU CAN BUY A CONVERSION BARREL THOUGH

An associate bought a Lone Wolf barrel for a Glock 20 10mm to .40S&W conversion; it works well, and he can now shoot cheaper non-jacketed lead bullets. We then tried the G-20 slide with conversion barrel on a G-21 frame, and it also worked. Following that, the conversion barrel was tried in the G-21 slide and frame, using the G-20 magazine. All the rounds cycled properly, in spite of a different sized breech face and extractor designed for the .45ACP. I would not however rely on doing that for any extended shooting.
Go ahead and buy the G-20, along with the Lone Wolf barrel. You will have the best of both worlds and common ammunition if you choose.

No they won't work. All you need is the 10mm/.40 barrel though and you're GTG. Use the 10mm mags and everything else. They may sell extended length 10mm/.40 barrels though if that's what you want.

A G-35 barrel will not work in a G-20, neither will G-35 mags.
If you want to shoot .40 in a Glock 20 you need an aftermarket conversion barrel. You use the 10mm mags for .40, works fine.

Thanks guys for the information, I like the idea of having the 10mm when camping or in the woods for any reason, You never know when you might need the 10mm for four legged friends, It would do quite nicely against any two legged ones as well, Although I think my G35 will work good enough for the 2 legged ones. Just got a thing for the 10mm, You all know the feeling, It's the American way right? Bigger is Better...:D
