10mm... my newfound love - DW Razorback pics

I recently purchased a blued Colt Delta Elite, DW Razorback, and Glock 29 (all 10mm). Now reloading in the caliber too. It's become a favorite caliber for me.

I finally got a chance to photograph my Razorback tonight. This is how I have set it up... this is not a carry gun for me, but a home/RV defense gun. As such, I like the size and weight to help moderate the power of the 10mm caliber. I'm using a full length guide rod and S&A arched checkered magwell both for utility and to add weight for recoil moderation. The gun is wonderful to shoot in this configuration (even with hot loads, very comfy) and reloads are really quick with the well. Feels like a "shootable Mercedes". Comes standard from the factory with flat serrated slide top, checkered front strap, Bo-Mar style adjustable sight, Ed Brown grip safety and Ed Brown thumb safety.

That is a sweet looking gun. I've wanted a 10mm 1911 pistol for a while, just can't afford it right now. The only thing I'd personally change is the MSH. I prefer flat, checkered MSHs. That is a beautiful piece of machinery.

The words "Freakin' Awesome" come to mind. It's like a 357Magnum for the auto pistol and in the 1911 package it's just shweeet. Recoil is just a bit more than 45Acp but it's not snappy and jerky.

So true... once you fire one you just love it and have to have it... I had no clue until I bought my Delta Elite... as soon as I shot it I was in love with 10mm. Now I have the Delta, the Razorback, and just this week the G29. What's next? A stainless Delta, a fixed sight Razorback, and a G20!

The RZ-10 looks sweet!

I'm currently on my 3rd 10MM (G20, G29, and a Kimber Eclipse Custom II) after shooting one about 2 months ago. It definitely can be an addiction! I'm probably going to order a RZ-10 or a DW Pointman in 10MM next.

Don't forget that Kimber has 2 nice 10MM 1911's as well. You might want to look at adding one to your 10MM collection as well.

I really love my Eclipse Custom II in 10MM.
