Ok so I had the good fortune of coming across a person who wanted to sell a multitude of items, .44 mag ammo, .45 acp hyrda shok, .45 colt and so on. On top of it he also had a laundry basket full of holsters and speed loaders for a .44 mag and other revolvers plus multiple glock magazines for .45 and 10mm.

As I was digging through the ammo I came across a box of 10mm norma rounds, all hollow points. I was told this was highly sought after. It is a box of 20rds all factory. Does anyone know what I should ask for them???

Norma was the original developer & manufacturer for the 10mm auto... back when Dornaus & Dixon (and Jeff Cooper) were sorting the Bren 10 out. It's quite "hot" with a 170 grain bullet at 1300 fps.

If they are the original 170 gr. brown and red boxes with the white ballistics label on the back, they're worth about $30 to $60 a box. I know that's not really all that much, and not a great spread of value for condition... but that's about it.

Keepers of a "Bren 10 shrine" and ammo collectors are always on the lookout for a nice Norma box, so you won't have any trouble selling it... except to me, 'cause I still have an unopened case of the stuff. :D

LOL thanks, it is an old narrow box that has 10rds per side. I will probably keep it and sell that other things since I really dont need the glock magazines. Thanks

Why not... everyone should have a box of 10mm Norma laying around. It's a good conversation piece. Just don't go insane and start looking for a Bren 10. The guns were pretty good and you can really get caught up in the history and enthusiasm, but the magazines... wooo, that's a whole 'nuther kettle of fish. :uhoh:

Vltor has been working on an updated Bren for years now... maybe one of these days.
