115 gn Nosler Partion 25-06

    Just picked up a box of nosler par. 115gn for my 25-06
    any suggestions for loads? I have H4831, H4350, and RL22.

    From Nosler # 3 manual:
    IMR 7828 54 grs. 3030 fps
    IMR 4831 52 grs. 3090 fps
    IMR 4350 49 grs. 3080 fps

    From Hornady #7

    Win WMR 58.6 grs. 3100 fps
    RL-22 56.1 grs. 3100 fps
    H450 54.6 grs. 3100 fps
    H4831 54.7 grs. 3000 fps
    All Listed as max loads, start @ -10%.

    My best loads with that bullet are with 50.0gr RL-22 and CCI250 magnum primers.

    Have you chronographed that load?

    Just curious at what velocity you're getting.

    The current Nosler #6 Manual shows 49.0gr of IMR4350 to be the most accurate load listed with your 115 gr Partition bullet. A word of caution however, this is listed as a maximum load, better of starting at 45.0gr(Nosler's starting load) and working up.
