Great!

I stocked up on Wolf primers when Powder Valley sold them for $14/1000.

I stocked up on Magtech/PMC/Tula/Fiocchi primers for $20-$25/1000.

I stocked up when Cabela's sold S&B primers for $20/1000 with free shipping.

Recently when MidwayUSA sold Winchester SP primers for $25/1000 with free shipping and $9.99 HazMat, I stocked up - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...ponents-on-sale.707473/page-168#post-10974240

Now Brownells is selling Winchester LP/LR primers for $22/1000 with free shipping.

These are the deals for stocking up to lower your reloading cost and allow you to ride out high prices during component shortages (Believe me, I have seen several during the past 27 years of reloading and I anticipate a few more before I die).

It's the reason why I set aside money each month to build up "stocking up" fund to buy components when they go on sale.

Me too.
Also stocked up when Midway had the CCIs in strips on sale for 20 per 1K.

Me too.

Missed the Fiochhi deal at Midsouth recently.

I bet benchrest shooters are happy they bought a ton of Wolf primers when they were cheaper and available.

Fiocchi SP primer cup size is slightly larger (Like Wolf/Tula) and require more effort to seat them (using them for smaller primer pocket once-fired S&B and RWS 9mm cases is a "No Go" for me and I have to use smaller diameter primers like S&B primers ;):D).

While I will use up Fiocchi primers for cases with enlarged/stretched primer pockets (It's good to have options in reloading life :D), I prefer to buy regular/smaller diameter primers in the future (I am bulking up too much from extra workout I get from seating Fiocchi primers). :(:p

BUT I did get consistent velocities with Fiocchi primers so I look forward to doing myth busting thread on primer comparison (Who knows, I may start buying primers based on group size in the future).

I still have some pre-Clinton primers, but most are post-Clinton. Many are pre-Obama, but some are post. Easily less than 10K from during the craziness. Have stocked up on sales in the last year, year and a half or so.
