A little while ago, the Communist News Network had a ticker at the bottom of the screen that said a Texas woman was angry at police over their 12-hour response time to a shooting call. :what: No other details were provided. Does anyone here know anything about this? Where? Who shot who? etc...

There are several 911 type calls out there.

For instance......here in PA, they dispatch it as a 911 call when someone has trouble dialing out on there computer. Doesn't get found out till we get there. But they get a disconnect, or hang up., etc......and we get sent out as a 911 hang up call, busy on call back.

If I get dispatched to the above, but then get a accident or a domestic....guess which call I'm going to first!!!!

Now, was her call a 911......hey I need a cop here asap, etc?????

12 hours is still alot.......but if the dept is running around like hells doors just broke open.....then I'm sure they had other priorities. And its the dispatchers (whether LEO or civilian) to keep track of the open calls......not the LEO himself.........so don't blame him.......blame the dispatchers.

The final straw for me:
When the stolen car went through the intersection, smashed off of the curb, bounced into a parked car and plowed into the foundation of my house in Boston. All four tires blown out, hood popped, steam/smoke rolling out of the engine compartment...I repeat jammed into the foundation of my house.
Like a fool I called 911 and was told, IN SPANISH, to please wait, por favor, until an officer could answer the call. I hung up. I decided that the car could burst into flames and burn the house down. So I went outside and with my neighbor's help shoved the wreck into the middle of the street. That way the police had to deal with it since it was now blocking traffic.
I was younger then and thought that 911 was an emergency response system. I am older now and I know better than to rely on it.
