14x1 LH Threads!

I'm looking at threading the muzzle on my SAR-1 to fit it with a slant brake. Some things I would like to know before getting started:
-Dies available from K-Var... any good?
-How do you adjust the "timing" so the brake fits snugly against the FSB when the detent is in place?
-Any other tricks or tips it would be good to know?

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The best way I've found to adjust the muzzle device is to file the rear end so that it's snug. Go slow and check the alignment often.
