I got an email yesterday about a 1-day, storewide 15% off sale at Xtreme. I picked up some .45 bullets that I have been wanting to get.

Then I get another email today (12/28) with the same sale price, one day only.

Thought I would mention it to anyone that had not seen the email.

Thanks, just ordered some. I'd like to add that when I ordered today, it's not only 15% off, it's also free shipping.

good deal and good sale and good product, Just be advised that some folks are still waiting for their black friday orders to arrive, I figure myself that it will take 3 to 4 weeks to receive my order and if it comes sooner I am the lucky one , I know this when I order during their sale events and am willing to wait a month delivery time for the sale price and free shipping and I stock up

I got 1K each of my two favorite X-Treme bullets on the Black Friday sale, so I am good. My came fairly quickly, but some folks are still waiting. I do this every year, and in between if needed, but it's a good idea not to get in a rush over them.

There are other good choices out there, and for one of the two bullets I order from them (9MM 124 Gr HP) I have alternates that work just as well. As for their 158 gr SWC for .38/.357, I haven't found anything else that is so versatile.

It took me about 2 weeks to get my Black Friday bullets. We'll see how long these "after Christmas" bullets take to arrive.

I got some of my favorite bullets from them at really low prices just a couple of weeks ago, but I took this opportunity to try another 1,000 pieces of their new brass, and restock my supply of plated .41 mag bullets. Thanks for the heads up.

I know we discussed this after the Xtreme Black Friday Sale, but boy these guys take forever to process and ship their orders. I placed my order on December 27th, today is January 5th, and it still shows "Processing" under order status. I get that this is "only" 9 days, but I get so used to Jake from RMR shipping the next day, that I always get impatient waiting for the Xtreme orders to show up.

I know others have said to "plan ahead" and expect a two-week wait, but I don't wanna!!! :)

This order was for some .45 ACP plated SWC rounds (200 gr) that I have been wanting to try, and RMR does not sell them...

True. If you're gonna use Xtreme, and especially if you plan to (wisely) buy during their periodic deep discounts, you just have to manage your own inventory. If you wait until you really need the stuff, it can be a long wait.

Yep, I only order Xtreme when they are on sale. I have got to the point where I was only ordering their plated 100 gr. .380 bullets to use in my 9mm mouse fart loads, but now I really want to try their .45 200 SWC plated bullets and compare them to the coated lead SWCs. Unfortunately, they are the only manufacturer that I can find that makes them.

I still say, "RMR all the way whenever possible"!!!

They're the only source of 220 grain plated 10/40 bullets that I know of. Since that's what I use for my gamer loads and shoot thousands of these per year, I'm kinda stuck with them! So I just buy all my plated bullets from them. I'm also in the middle of testing out their brass... it's a bit cheaper than Starline (which is my favorite). So far so good on the initial loadings, but the real test for me is how brass stands up to repeated loading. That will take a while to figure out.

If RMR starts offering a 220 .40/10mm plated pill, I will happily give them a try (hint, hint).

BTW, yesterday my shipping confirmation came, so I think they're getting through their backlog of high-discount orders.

Well, I'll be darned!!! Thanks for those links. I haven't used Berry's in so long, I sort of forgot about them. I should have thought about them for sure. The Rainier's look good for sure. Nice!!! I appreciate the head's up.

At the risk of hijacking this thread, have you used either of these before? I am totally on board to paying a little more to get them in a timely fashion.

I shot a bunch of the Raniers years ago, and they shot well for me, but I am no Bullseye shooter. I have not shot the Berrys 200 Gr SWC, but have shot their 185 Gr SWC and it shoots well.

If you are interested in a coated 200 Gr SWC I would suggest the Precision 200 Gr SWC.

I have ordered some X-Treme bullets the last three years (IIRC) when they have put them on sale. This time I bought 1K each of the 9MM 124 Gr HP and the .38/.357 158 Gr SWC. Hard to beat 20% off and free shipping.
