Thought I was buying another Rem.1100 12ga.loked closer it"s a 16.For 115.00 it's a keeper.Who ever had this gun before must have never took it apart looks good on outside, inside dirt, gummy oil and seeds. It cleaned up good,I'll take it out this week and shoot it.

Man, some of you guys are making me feel REALLY inferior:( :(

I can't touch an 1100 or an 870 in tomato stake condition for less than 250 dollars.

That sure sounds like a great buy, get the loader out and get going on that thing!!

Good luck with that 16. Before shooting, I'd replace the big spring in the stock, and O rings etc. Any 1100 with this kind of neglect needs those.

Enjoy...

Great, glad to hear it. 12 shots isn't a comprehensive test, but it's a good indicator. a few rounds of your clay sport of choice is called for ASAP(G)...

Do you load for 16 gauge yet?

A MEC 600 JR and a few components make sense. The load range for the 16 is a bit narrow.

I'd certainly use trap grade shot and moderate amounts of powder for 1150-1200 FPS loads.
