1860 Colt

I went to the gun show in Niles, OH today. A vender had a 1860 Colt 44 with no MFG's name on. Had Italian proof marks. Looked like my Pietta. Any idea who made it. He wanted $120.00. Was used but felt tight.

Buy it? I've always loved the lines of the 1860's.

Assuming it's in good condition, indexing properly and everything 120 seems like a pretty good price.

I passed on the 1860. But with the MFG proof mark material P-Dawg provided I won't be so much in the dark in the future. Thanks.

Steel frame, brass trigger guard. Looked like my Pietta.
