Thank you gentlemen!
And glad you like Tams!

Open a gunsmithing shop? Um sure..
First, send all your 1911s to me, then um.....
(does there have to be a step two? :D )

I tell ya what , perhaps my 1911 needs to stay IWB ( until that part about what comes after sending them all in is figured out) :)...but I could bring coffee, donuts and watch a lady do her craft...heck I might even buy lunch.
Be an honor ma'am.

Took it out in the back yard...

120 rounds later, I can say I'm very happy. The gun, though with the factory '66 chamber throat and ramp, fed a mixture of rounds (185gr Golden Sabers, 230gr Golden Sabers, and 200gr Georgia Arms plated SWC's) with aplomb. Strong hand, weak hand, both hands... It ate 'em up and spit 'em pretty much where I wanted 'em. I wasn't watching where the empties went, but that would've been kinda pointless with the varied holds I was using...

Couldn't check the finer points of aim, either, since the targets were already pretty bullet-riddled and I didn't bring any coke cans down to the range with me, but I'm already happy as a clam... :)

Very Nice! It reminds me of the two tone guns that Bill Bidwell (Jawbones) and I loved to build with the electroless nickle lower ends and the bright blue top ends. I have always been very fond of that elegant look that you have done here. Keep up the great work!

One that I did many years ago that Jeff Copper liked to shoot.

VERY nice work ladies! My compliments! Checkering is the one thing I haven't work up the nerve to try, yet, and that's a big statement from a guy with a .40 Double Eagle:)

The hammer style doesn't do it for me, I think it would look better with a Commander hammer, but that's nitpicking.

I like both of them.

But this one is my favorite. I like the "old school" dark over light look vs. the light slides.

Kaylee, you did a great job.

Tams a real winner. Like the song says "... with a little help from my friends..."
