1920 S&W 38 original price

Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if any one might know what the retail price would have been on a S&W Model of 1905 4th Change in 1920 or 1921. This isn't really needed info,
just curios.

I scurried to my copy of the 1928 Johnson Smith catalog but no S&Ws...did, though, find the Colt Police Positive revolver going for $35. Caliber either .32 Colt Positive or .38 S&W.
Also, the 1911 Colt is going for $45 - a lot of money back then.

Anyway, 8 years earlier ... S&W might have been less expensive ...maybe yours would be 30 bucks?

Try posting your question on www.smith-wessonforum.com. They've got some HARD core S&W collectors over there, who probably have the original catalogs at their fingertips.
