Not sure what you mean Jacob, can you clarify the question? If I DO understand the question, then the answer is that they make neck sizing dies for all bottleneck cartridges.

I'm not sure of Jacob's question ether. You "might" be asking if a 22-250 neck die will work on other caliber of cases? like your 223? That answer is no.

If you are asking "can I buy a neck die for each caliber of brass?" Yes you can.

I don't know.

As for the 22-250 die sizing other necks of different calibers, i guess its possible , but i am to lazy to do the research. You would have to find cases of about the same length or longer. Thinner body diameter, but with the same loaded neck diameter with in a few .001" +/- .005" just a guess. Check the drawings at> http://www.stevespages.com/page8d.htm After a very quick look, a 220 Swift might be neck sized using a 22-250 neck die. MAYBE??

A few nights ago I ran a piece each of .25-06 and .243 range brass through a .22/250 neck die. It took a couple of runs at it and lots of lube. Made dummy rounds from them. Maybe not what you're asking though.

I think what jacob might be referring to is the fact Hornady sells a neck sizing die that functions on multiple calibers. They have two 22 caliber neck sizing dies, a short and a standard.

The standard die will resize 22/250 and the .223 Remington. Short of looking at their chart I think it also does the .222 Remington and the .222 Remington Mag.

As far as I know, they are the only ones who do this this.

jmundy answered my question. i saw this in the hornady catalog and was wondering if my 22-250 rcbs die would work for a 223. i guess i will just have to try
