22 at Cabelas again

Perhaps I shouldn't post this but...

I bought and went through checkout... confirmation of one box order.

After the eighth order my bank account ran dry. Checked out EIGHT TIMES IN ONE DAY and received an order confirmation each time. I don't know if any orders will be cancelled but it hasn't happened yet.

If I receive all 4K rounds then I'll sell them at cost to buddies because I don't need them and I'm not buying to gouge. I'll only gouge buyers with what I bought 4-6 years ago.:D

If any of you are wondering about my intentions........ I could deposit $2K in my account tomorrow and just keep going and going and going. I'm not and, again, IF I receive all 4K rds then I'll sell them at cost to friends.

Well then my friends and neighbors will be happy. I'm sorry if you're not. I bought and you didn't... and I didn't do it for me. I know lots of folks looking for .22 LR. Are you the type to invest your own money to help others at "cost"? I didn't think so.

I could have kept my mouth shut. If I was a greedy gouger that's precisely what I would have done. Instead, I chose to share that information with everyone here. Would you have?? I didn't think so!!
 
I bought to share with others... at my cost!!

And I SHARED my findings with all here!!

I don't NEED .22 LR and am going to get out of that caliber altogether. But I know a half dozen folks who want the cartridges. I'm NOT selling my premium cartridges for cheap. BUT... I'll buy standard .22 LR at fair prices when I find it and re-sell AT MY COST TO MY FRIENDS.

DON'T LIKE THAT?? TOO BAD YOU'RE NOT MY FRIEND!!

I'm 100 percent SURE next time YOU find a deal like this you'll buy as many as you can (for yourself or for profit)... THANKS TO MY SUGGESTION HERE... HYPOCRITES... AND you won't share your findings with others!! GOUGERS!! HYPOCRITES!!

Yep....Mike123... he's the guy with 14,000 rounds he's been trying to sell for the last few weeks. You know, the guy who doesn't even own a 22. And he just bought another 4,000 rounds. Now why is there a "shortage"??
 
Okay... I'm sick of this... taking things too personally... you people don't know me nor my intentions... last post tonight.

Want my 14K rds of premium hard-to-find .22 LR I bought 4-6 years ago? Better look on GB. You won't find it available here among those who failed to think ahead. The ammo I just bought... is going AT COST to my friends and neighbors... people like you... don't even THINK of asking!!
 
Anybody have any experience with these BLAZERS? Leading issues?

I bought 5k rounds of this ammo locally back in the fall of 2012 for, I think, $18.99 plus tax. It was adequate plinking ammo and I still have a few boxes around. i don't recall any serious malfunction problems.

That's ok Mike, I'm pretty set on 22 ammo. Difference between you and me is I post these alerts without buying any, where you buy 4,000 rounds (for a weapon you don't even own). But that's your right. Just not sure why you'd want to brag about it with all the people trying to find ammo to shoot. But whatever.

i bought for others... With "my" initial funds to let them have it at my "cost"... How do you not comprehend this?!?

I wasn't "bragging"... I was letting people here know, including you, that we can check out single boxes several times in one day. If I was a gouger WOULD I DO THAT???
 
Why can't those people that you loaded up with ammo buy it themselves just like you did. Do they own a phone?

You are a straw buyer. No different than going in with a friend to buy him some ammo because he can only buy one box.


I think that's what's getting people worked up here.

Because the opportunity lasts for just a few minutes. Most of these guys have families. They don't have the time to frequent the forums like I do. Since I can surf much of the day and I found a couple (JUST TWO) good deals in the last year... that makes me a bad guy? I'm helping my friends and neighbors. I see no wrong in that. I'm sorry if my fellow THR members missed out but I DID TRY TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THEY CAN BUY MORE THAN ONE BRICK PER DAY. If I was a cheater and gouger... WOULD I DO THAT??

Since I got all the 22LR I need, I've been going for EZ pickings at some local big box stores and offering 'em up to folks that are shooters - not flippers.

We've got a local flipper that has started showing up with his posse (to get around the 3-box limit) and wiping out the local store. I'm showing up earlier each time the ammo I'm looking for shows up just to buy it before he gets it.
I hear he sells at local gun shows for 2 to 3 times what he's paying for it.

If I know of someone that actually shoots the stuff, I'll sell 'em some of my extra.
My next project is also to find any local shooting programs run by 4H, Boy Scouts, etc. that have had to cut back on their shooting programs due to lack of 22LR and see if I can't help them out.

I actually had one person try to scam me out of some ammo claiming it was for a shooting program!

This shortage brings out the worst in some folks...

I can understand you being upset Mike, and maybe I shouldn't have called you out. But you have to see how what you've posted can upset people who are just trying to buy ammo to shoot. I'm not going to get into what you should or shouldn't be buying. It's your money, so you can do whatever you want with it. Like I said, I'm set with 22 ammo, but I don't rub it in everybody's face. I don't shoot as much 22 as I used to, mainly because I've been trying to find "THE" load for my 40 and 38. But also because I can't just stop by Walmart and pick up 2 or 3 bricks after work. My Ruger MKIII really likes Federal Automatch, CCI MiniMags and Winchester M2's, so if I ever see any of these, I'm on it. Remington Thunderduds, not so much. So I pass that info along to others. Doesn't make me a better person, just maybe a little more considerate. And I apologize to everybody for possibly getting this thread locked. That was not my intent.

I just realized that I'm being offended far too easily tonight. I posted earlier that I need to get off the forum. I am signing off and this time I mean it.

I'll only state that, IMHO, I'm the most honest person I know. I don't cheat, don't lie and never take advantage. If that sounds arrogant then I'm sorry. I don't intend to be. I guess it's why I'm so jaded with the rest of the world.
