I'd like to get a rifle/carbine in .22 Hornet but, since I'm a southpaw, I don't want to work a "rightie" bolt action, despite all the advantages they can offer.

Are there any rifles in .22 Hornet available in pump action or lever action?

Thanx much.

No, not that I can think of.

Browning did make a run of Model 65 lever-actions in .218 Bee, and there are still some to be found.

Marlin also made some in .218 Bee.

There are, or have been a wide varity of single-shots made in .22 Hornet that might serve you well left-handed.
Ruger #1 and #3, Tompson-Center Contender, Winchester & Browning Low-Wall, etc.

Keep in mind that either a pump or a lever just might toss the empty case right at your face when you eject it. The single shots might be the best way to go.

I'm still waiting for Ruger to make a 96-22H!
They make a great bolt action 22 hornet and it seems it would be VERY simple to chamber the 96 in the Hornet.

If you check on Rimfirecentral they have a left handed forum. In it there is a sticky that lists firearms and accessories that are made for southpaws. As I recall they are not limited to rimfire firearms. Maybe something on there will help.

Browning lists a lefty A-bolt in 22 hornet if that is more what you want.

get an old remmy, twisty tube, in say 25.20 or 32.20, unless you can rechamber one for hornet, which I would love to see a pump gun in Hornet!!!!!

THe marlin 218 bee looks good. If your not totally commited to a 22 hornet you might be able to find a marlin 94 in 32 mag. I love mine.

Cabelas in Ft Worth had two on the used gun rack 6-8 months ago for around $500 each.

I was looking at ammo in Academy yesterday and 22 hornet ammo was $30 for 50 rounds. I hope you plan on reloading.

Also a 22 mag makes a fair replacement for the hornet. Henry has 22 mag levers and you might be able to find a ruger 22 mag lever action also.

I checked rugers website and the 22 mag levergun is still available. Good luck with your search.
