anyone have a henery .22 lever action regular blued model thinking of
picking on up for me and the kid to learn on are these a good rifle to
shoot alot

We have one and I'm looking for another in .22 magnum. Very well made and accurate. I would highly recommend one!!

You will not be sorry, one of the best values around. Nice feature of the lever .22 is it will digest anything you want to put through it, long rifle, long, short , cb caps ect. ect. Mine gets taken to the range everytime we go and the kids argue over who gets to shoot it next.

I agree with the others, i have one in LR and another in WMR. The LR feeds everything from CB's to HV ammo perfectly, and both seem to be a very good 22 rifles...

I have one. Best 22 I have ever owned and I've owned the Marlin Model 60 and Ruger 10/22 to compare with. The Henry was just as accurate as the Marlin but much more fun to shoot. Goes to the range EVERY time. Sometime it's the only thing I take.

I'll echo the positive reviews above. I picked up an H001 a couple of months ago and try to shoot it weekly. It is smooth and accurate. For comparison, I have three Marlin lever guns and the Henry stacks up extremely well against them.

I have the 22 mag with a red dot on it for low light critter duty. The action is absolutely smooth. Accurate with the V-mag bullets. It didn't like the cheap Winchester solid points though.

I've got an H001 with about 8,000 rounds through it. Slickest lever action I've felt, never fails to seriously dent the case (no light strikes), accurate, and fun. Great little rifle, and 15 shots on tap makes reloading few and far between!

Bought one for my son. It's function is smooth and reliable and it's accurate. Fortune sure smiled on us as we found one at a good price that had gorgeous wood. My son has run a couple thousand rounds through it with no trouble. What I don't like about the Henry is the plastic sights & barrel band

ive got one with octagon barrel i love it it did have a minor issue with the lever not holding in place but its an easy fix you wont regret getting one

I have the golden boy in 22 magnum. I bought it new and it had a problem feeding. Sent it back and it was repaired and returned in a week.
Henry makes a fine gun and I love mine.

I owned a Henry and a Marlin 39A at the same time. The Henry had by far the smoothest action. The Marlin held the edge in the accuray dept. I sold the Henry but am keeping the Marlin (bought it new in 1955). I sold the Henry as I did not care for the use of plastics nor the cast non magnetic reciever housing attached to everything with 4 common hardware screws and lock washers. It was a nice rifle but I was cutting down on what I owned and the Marlin was simply better overall quality.

I own three Henry rifles and they are flat out quality made accurate rifles. If I stumble across a good deal I will own 4 henry's. Good guns

As an added comment make sure you get a couple of speed-d-loaders, makes reloading lightning fast and just adds to the fun. This not only goes for the Henry but any other tube fed .22 on the market.
