This coming Sunday, January 2nd at 12 noon, the Millstadt Sportsmen's Club is hosting its monthly indoor .22 rifle meat shoot. We'll host this again each first Sunday of the month through March. $3 per shot, 16 shooters in a round, meat is t-bones, ribeyes, bacon/brat combo packs and pork steaks from Schneider's meat market in Waterloo. Ammo provided, please do not bring any ammo from outside. We shoot CCI Quiets at about 34 feet. A house gun (Remington 513-T) that's zero'd for the range and ammo is available, along with a beanbag rest if you choose to use it. Judging is done with the aid of a digital microscope - everyone gets to see their shot on a screen. New this month, a monitor with camera zoomed into the target so everyone can see the shots on the HD TV at the same time rather than crowd around a spotting scope.

C'mon out, bring your rifle, shooting friends and have a good time. Cecil is making his famous Hobo Stew (no charge). Open/iron sights only, peep or buckhorn (no optics). If there are enough buckhorn shooters and there's any interest, we'll have a buckhorn-only round. Last month we had enough young shooters to have a 14 & under round and will do the same again if there's interest.

4915 Schmidt Lane
Millstadt, IL 62260
Starts at noon. Hope to see ya there!
