.223 Cleaning Post Sizing

Have been using RCBS case lube and never removed it from thousands of rounds fired. The dies and AR don't seem to be any worse for it. Asked this same question before and didn't get reamed to hard for my laziness. Most thought the only loss was a few hundred fps down range due to gas loss in the chamber coated in lube. And you thoughts?

I started using Dillon case lube recently. I dampen a shop rag with paint thinner and wipe down each round as I give it a final inspection before it gets packed into the box or plastic case.

PITA, but it forces me to inspect each round.

When I size with Imperial wax, I just wipe them on a dry clean rag, which functions like polishing and makes them suckers nice and slick.

I tumble mine after they are resized. But it is just one step of many. I've grown to like doing one operation at a time for a lot of cases. I will resize a couple hundred .223 cases, then while they are in the tumbler I will start resizing .308 cases. Finish that, take out the 223, throw in the 308, then start trimming the 223.
