My son and I are reloading for a Bushmaster M4. The reloads are always w/ W748 powder, Rem 7 1/2 primers, Win bulk 55 gr. FMJBT and OL is 2.245-2.248".
We have had great results w/ PMC brass and 25.4 grs. of 748.
LC 07 w/ 26.4 grs.
LC 04 w/ 25.6 grs.
LC 03 w/ 26.4 grs. All of these will shoot 1/2" groups at 50 yds.
When I reload using the RP brass the groups are terrible. We can't seem to find the right amount of powder to make these things accurate. I saw a load w/26.0 grs. listed in another post but that didn't work well. Do any of you have a load that you use w/ RP brass in a short M4 .223? Thanks, Gene

I've had good results with 26.4 grains of 748, RP 7 1/2's, RP brass and Win 55fmj's, col 2.250" but the Win bullets were from years past. From posts I've seen the Win 55fmj's are not the quality they used to be? Don't know why you get better results with LC brass as RP is usually as good or better in my loads and their weights are close. Hornady 55fmj's are best and all I buy now.

Most of my loads for 223 are with Remington brass. These shoot very good from my 700,Mini and AR. SRM primers of either CCI or Winchester are used.I use data from the Hornady manaual of 27.5 grains. I shoot a variety of 55 grain bullets from buying bulk to Hornady 55 grain flatbase w.cannulure to Sierra 55 grain SP Pro Hunter. Byron

i bought 10000 pc of RP brass years ago and they're 4x fired now :)
accuracy isn't bad on them in my experience. i've used a lot of different powders but mostly accurate data powders you can't buy anymore (2230c especially)
