Yesterday (3/2/2015) was a good day. I got the email from ATF approving my form 1 submission (1/18/2015) for a SBR. Shortly after printing out a few copies of the stamp I went down to the shop and switched out my pistol buffer tube for the carbine buffer tube and stock.
This one is a 10.5" 277 Wolverine with a 1:7" twist (instead of 1:11) for testing and use with 150g+ projectiles in subsonic applications. I plan to work up a 100% functional load with 150g pills in anticipation of the arrival of my Griffin Armament Recce 7. I will also come up with a great hunting load as well as a good performing plinking load.
Here's a picture of how it sits now, however I plan to change the optic to a 1-4x to improve my accuracy at longer distances for hunting and load development.
