Was poking around the internets tonight and stumbled upon a 28ga Benelli. I would be really happy if they would import this shotgun. What do you think about it?

translated by babelfish as I dont speak Italian.

Benelli introduces first and the lighter semi-automatic one in bore 28 to nertial operation. A challenge that till yesterday seemed impossible is exceeded with happening declining the better system than operation with the smallest but intriguer of the bores. Raffaello Crio 28 is born, a performante gun highly dedicated to the sport and refined hunter that it wants to exalt its ability being defied if same and the others with an elegant, harmonious arm and from the winning lines, in the sign of the style and the technological philosophy Benelli. To conceive a gun to nertial operation in the small-caliber, being gone encounter to the difficulties own of the laws of the physical has been a Victoria of all engeneering the team of Benelli, only obtained thanks to the great experience and the advances technologies.

A shame that styling team didn't have a go at that Vinci. That's not a bad looking little gun, but I am sure it carries the Benelli premium price tag. Oh, I don't think I need my wood branded any more than I need to pay to advertise for Tommy Hilfiger.

The Beretta/Benelli empire does already have the best 28 gauge auto and it is the Franchi AL-48.

But if you have to have Benelli written on it....

Next year in America. JT

The best Italian word for the annual firearms trade show (The EXA Show) held in Brescia (home of Beretta) every April is “eccitazione,” which translates into excitement."

"As mentioned in my IWA blog, Benelli released several new shotguns, but the new Vinci was not exhibited in Italy, as it will be an American-only product for its first year. The trade off is that Americans will not be able to get the new inertia operated, 5.2 lb., 28 ga. Rafaello with crio treated barrel until 2010. There simply isn’t enough production capacity at the factory in Urbino to facilitate these two exciting offerings concurrently."

We get the Vinci and they get the 28 gauge?

Talk about the short end of the stick.

Maybe one day Beretta will make the 391 in 28 gauge. I keep hoping. :)
