para carry 9

I had a para carry 9 and it was one of the most accurate 1911 style lda I have ever owned. at 24 ounces, it also wa sone of the litest to. Went bang every time, . The best double action trigger system ever made. My only complaint was the frame finish did not hold up good at all. the slide was super, but the frame started to chip the finish real fast. Other than that, I would recommend the Para line anyday.

Carry a Colt Defender, no problems in the last 2000 rounds. Had a nose dive issue with a factory Colt magazine and Shooting Star mags, replaced the followers with Tripp Research and haven't had a worry since. About 4000 rounds total, and carry it daily.

I also have a Springfield EMP about to hit 500 flawless rounds.

Surprising lack of micro haters in this thread.

Don't have a 3" .45, but have two 3.5" Para Ordnance models. One is the LDA single stack Black Watch Companion - the other is a single stack single action Ops. Both are reliable and amazingly accurate for short barreled 45s. I'm an old revolver guy, so I actually shoot the LDA version better.

I have a 3.5 SA V10 Ultracompact. I bought it used and had a terrible stovepipe thing going on for a while. Dropped in a Wilson extractor (no tuning) and she's been completely reliable since, even with JHP. However I still do not carry her just yet. I am a 1911 fan but for now I chose an XD40sc for everyday.

Your mileage may indeed vary.
