3-Gun @ Weld County CO, PICS

Colorado Multi-Gun is running three local match series in the Colorado area now, the most recent addition being monthly 3-Gun at the Weld County Fish & Wildlife range near Ault, CO (East of Fort Collins).

We had 14 shooters show up for the first match, braving the frigid 5* F temps. We shot four stages:

1. rifle/pistol El Prez @ about 20 yards, 4 targets, rifle headshots only.

2. rifle alley, 7 shoot positions/ports along about 20 yards movement, 19 targets

3. shotgun gallery, 32 steel shot targets, 2 slug targets, 20 yards movement

4. rifle shuffle, 2 targets at 90 yards to be engaged from each of 5 positions/ports

As the temperatures rise from hand-numbing to comfortable, we will build some more
complicated stages and we expect to get 30-45 shooters.

I figure we had 30-45 seconds to shoot before fingertips started going numb. Loading a shotgun with numb fingers is not easy....
