My Lee manual doesn't have anything for a 110 grain jacketed bullet using IMR 4064. I cooked up some loads using Hornady Vmax bullets with 30 grains of powder. How much hotter can I safely go? 35-36 is about all that will fit in the case.

*I know this load makes my Marlin 30AS a single-shot rifle :)

I tried light bullets in a Marlin and a Winchester years ago, I couldn't get them to shoot well at all. At the time I decided the twist rate in the barrel was set up for heavy bullets at relatively low speeds and that was why my 30-30's shot like buckshot patterns with the light bullets. It might work, but I gave up. Good luck and please let us know how things work out, it is a project I would like to pick up again if there is hope of making it work.

I also played around with 110 grain softpoint bullets with my .30-30 Winchester using W-748 and came to the same conclussion as HSMITH. Not an accurate round. Scattered them like buckshot.:what:
