I have no idea, and neither do any of my buddies. Does anybody on this board know, in fact, whether .30 Carbine ammunition is becoming more available, or less?

I don't know about any change in availability over the past few months but I see it in all the stores, 15 years ago I couldn't find a box to buy.

M-1 Carbines

My guess would be slightly better. A company (I forget the name) is making new M-1 Carbines now. For many years Plainfield and Universal made them, but, as I recall, the companies went belly-up.

Back in the early eighties, one of those two companies made a cool M-1 Carbine pistol, very similar in concept to the AK-47 pistols that are popular now. Wish I had purchased one back then!

Yesterday at the San Antonio gun show, a dealer was selling 120 rounds, on stripper clips, for $20.
