3030 range

im shhoting a 336 with my friend tomorrow. were shooting leverevolution and some cheap stuff. was wondering if hornady levev can hit the 300 yard target? theres no 200 range so we have to skip from 100 up to 300. iron sights, no scope

But yes, if you can shoot, the 30-30 can certainly hit things at 300 yards, even without the trick ammo.

With 150 grain SP and a 150 yard zero, the bullet will be about 1 1/2" high at 100 yards, and 24" low at 300 yards.
