308 acogs

I want an acog for my fal and I was considering a http://www.trijicon.com/na_en/products/product3b.php?pid=TA31ECOS 4x ta31 ecos. I heard that I may be better off with 3x ta11j-308 http://www.trijicon.com/na_en/products/product3b.php?pid=TA11J-308.

So what acog should I get and why?

the first one is calibrated for .223. There is a cheaper ACOG calibrated for the .308 but it has a much narrower FOV... I am buying the TA11. Best deal I found is through Bear Basin (web based seller) and they offer 6 months no interest if you want to take out a card with them.
