What's the standard comeups on a .308 from 100 to 200 yards, and then from 200 -300 yards?

I have the gun sighted in at 200 and have a match coming up where we will shoot at 300. I'll have limited time to take sighters and I just need to be close and I'll make the final adjustments at the range.

While I'm at it, if I'm sighted in at 300 yards, how many inches would I be high if I were shooting at 200 yards. This way I might be able to take some practice shots at 200 this weekend before the match later in Oct.

Thanks in advance.
Steven

Here is data for some common .308 loads, at 2000' density altitude and a 1.75" SOB distance.

I'll be using Fed Gold Metal Match 169gr from a bolt gun. Not need to be exact, if I get within 4-5 inches I can make the final adjustments.

Zak - do you have that same chart with a 200 yard and 300 yard zero?

Round numbers, two inches high at 100 is right at dead on at 200 and about six inches low at 300. Could be 2.5", dead on, 7". Roughly. :)

If zeroed at 300, I'd guess maybe three inches high at 200, roughly. About four inches high at 100, maybe.

Ballpark numbers, anyhow.

Note that this is for 1.75" SOB and 2000' DA.

This is helpful, thanks.

So if I'm sighted in at 300 yards, my point of impact at 200 yards will be 5.5 inches high. So I can sight in at my 200 yard range and I should be in the ball park when I hit the 300 yard range. This is about 2.6 moa adjustment to my scope's evelation.

Good stuff. Thanks
