I like concepts I believe they make you think the most....
So how about 505 gibbs reduced by 40% in length or so. Making an overall case length of 48mm. Reducing the case capacity to somewhere around 100 to 103 grains of h20 case capacity. By reducing 40% of length we are now a short action maybe a 250gr bullet would be to long but I don't think it would. Any theoretical thoughts from anyone or perhaps real experience?

I mean theoretically that's beyond 338 rem mag, almost 338 Norma mag in a short action h20 capacity roughly. Perhaps 338 rem ultra mag performance in ashort action nipping the heels of the highly regarded 338 lapua mag. Or just Norma mag in short action
