Does anyone load the 35gr. V-max in a 22-250?
I am just looking for high numbers on my chrony and this is the fastest combo I own.
I've tried 10x and IMR-4064 decent accuracy nothing special.
Just wanting to make the read out race on the chrony.
Thanks
Steve

I have loaded them in my .223.

What I understand is that the 35 grain bullet for the hornet has a much thinner jacket than the slightly heavier bullets.

You may be able to run the chronograph speed up but you may find that the bullet vaporizes (sheds its jacket) much over 3500 fps.

I don't know if they are for hornets or not but I've got them up to 4100 with okay groups of under 3/4"
but i will try rl-15 thanks
I get better accuracy with 55gr bullets just trying to see the speed
