The .356 TSW seemed liked a great idea in its time. It could be loaded hotter than the .357 sig? This raises many questions. How can a seemingly smaller case volume generate higher velocities with same weight bullet? How much can you really get out of the .357 sig? I have recently acquired a 9x23/.38 super combo and I am really enjoying the new platforms. Really picked it up out of boredom. I have been reading quite a bit lately about these four calibers and the idea just came up. The .356 TSW seemed like a better mousetrap than the .357 sig. Can you guys fill me in on some history or any random thoughts, thanks.
