Doing some online shopping for cast bullets I noticed two different diameter bullets offered for the .38/.357, .357 and .358. I always used .357 diameter in loading .38 and .357 cal. With no issues, I guess I never looked into whether there is a advantage using one or the other. I thought the smaller diameter would be for use with a gas check. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Plain base & gas checked cast bullets are the same .358" diameter. Bigger is better than smaller. My size/lube die makes mine right at .3575"

I size all of mine to .358...and gas checks will work on those that come from a gc mold...I just not use gas checks on any bullets...I shoot them all like they are pb.
