I tried the 380 95gn Bayou...I find it interesting that they size the .380 bullets at 0.355" (advertised, mine measured 0.3545") ...

I think you're on to something there, Toprudder :p
Bullets sized @ 0.356" seem to work better in my G-42.
It probably would be a good choice to buy the 9mm version of their lightest pill.
Thanks for chiming in....

It's been awhile since we've seen any pix from your range sessions, Potatohead

Hadnt been in awhile. That way when I show some pics of the next trip I can say (just like in golf) "uhh, I havent shot in awhile" :D

Like I said, the 95gn bullet can be bought as 380 (0.355"), 9mm (0.356") or 38spl (0.358"). Probably all cast from the same molds and sized as needed. They do say the bullets can be ordered in special sizes, but these are the advertised sizes for each caliber.

I just purchased the Lee .356 bullet sizer. I have some 38spl Bayou coated bullets. I may try to size one of those down to see how well it works.

Toprudder, you are correct, they are cast from same mould and sized to calibers.
When I called in my order, they gave me the option of ordering the bullets sized for 380, 9mm or 38spl.
After reading your posts, in hindsight I should have ordered in 9mm "size" (0.356") as I feel they would work equally well in 380 & 9mm.
Don't know this for sure, but I am going to try the "380 size" in 9mm and order some in "9mm size" to try in my 380.
Will post results here or on BE-86, as that is the powder I am working up now (unless you beat me to it:what:)
