3901 v Affinity

Looking for people with experience with the Beretta and Franchi listed above. barrel costs? issues? likes? dislikes?

I have an A5 and 1100 wanting a synthetic stocked for field use.

Having used both of the guns you described and now owning a 3901, I love mine and haven't looked back since.

Disclaimer: Everyone should either own or shoot an A5 just to experience a historical recoil operated shotgun.

My first favorite trap gun was my Classic Trap 1100.

I later bought a nice Beretta O/U for trap.

A year or so ago on an impulse buy for a bargain, I bought a 3901 gas gun that looks like new for $400.

I keep finding myself shooting the 3901 over the O/U because it is less abusive to my shoulder.

I haven't had a single problem with the 3901. In fact, it is a tighter shotgun by far than my 1100. Neither gave me troubles. Get what YOU like and good luck!
