Due to circumstances beyond my control I am about a week late writing this review, but here goes.

I mentioned on this forum that I was interested in getting an inside the waistband holster for a K Frame S&W. The next thing you know I got a PM from TAKtical stating that they had the blue gun on order for a K frame and if I was interested they would contact me when it came in.

Lo and behold, about a week later I got a PM saying they were ready to make my holster, and asked me what I wanted. Being the big spender that I am (cough) I said I wanted two holsters for a 4" K Frame, one strong side for a right hander and one cross-draw for a right hander.

I was specific about the cant of the crossdraw holster and I also asked that the holsters be made a little loose because of an old shoulder injury. I was assured this would not be a problem.

One thing led to another, and with a holiday weekend thrown in it took me a few days to get my money order up to them. No problem. As soon as my money was there the production started and in no time I had my new holsters.

They are exactly what I requested!

The cant on the crossdraw is perfect to avoid printing under a shirt, the fit on both holsters allows an easy draw for me while still allowing for some retention, the leather couldn't have been cut to fit me better, and the riveting is tight and smooth. I am more satisfied with the cutting of these holsters than I am with a King Tuck I have for my 1911.

To make a long story short, I would recommend TAKtical to a friend, I do intend to order from TAKtical again, and I am very happy to own what I've been told is the first ever cross draw holster made by TAKtical.

This is not an assembly line outfit. Your needs are listened to and addressed. In fact, my next project is to contact them about an OWB for my daughter. Being a petite little thing she may be a difficult fit, but knowing TAK will listen to my needs might make it possible to get my daughter away from purse carry.

Im pretty sure there is a rule stating you can not mention a k frame and holster without posting a pic

Here is the regular IWB. I forgot to get a pic of the crossdraw before I shipped them but Im sure doc will take a pic of that one for you.
