I'm trying to settle on a "one bullet for all my 10mm/.40 S&W uses". I'm looking for a quality but not too horrificly expensive JHP to serve as a defensive load but still be cheap enough to practice with.
I have it narrowed down to the Nosler 150 gr JHP or Remington 165 gr Golden Saber JHP. The Remington is only %5 more expensive so I'm not considering cost as a factor between them.
I've used (and still have quite a few) Nosler 135 gr bullets and know they are accurate out of my guns but I'm not confident they'll get sufficant penertation out of the .40 S&W, particularly in my short barrelled RAMI.
Anyone have experiance with the Remingtons? The .429 240 gr JSP I got for my .44 Desert Eagle seem to be quite accurate and consistant and I imagine the more expensive Golden Saber line should be at least as good.
