Couple questions. Is .44 Russian brass available or must you trim the .44 Special case? Also will the standard RCBS dies work. I'm not sure about the crimping as the Russian is shorter. Thought it may be interesting to load a few. Any advice appreciated.

The RCBS cowboy dies in 44SPL/44RUSSIAN load beautiful 44RUSSIAN ammunition.
If you want to use a conglomeration of 44 dies you already have you will still need a 44RUSSIAN crimp die,and probably a 44RUSSIAN expander button.

Thanks. That was what I was afraid of. I really don't want to reload a steady diet of these, just a few. I see a pretty good deal from one of the companies advertising a box of 50 for $13.95. However these are 200 grain bullets. Maybe I will just continue to load what I have. What are the chances of finding just a crimping die for sale?
