.44 Silhouette loads

I have a box of 250 gr Sierra Silhouette for my .44 Mag. I have 4 manuals, but unfortunately not a Sierra book. I am thinking mild loads with maybe HP38 powder. Not looking for a barn burner. Any folks out there with a Sierra manual that might be kind enough to give me starting and max if they list that powder?

An HP-38/W-231 starting load with that bullet would probably be 8.0 grains.

It should give you about 950 - 1,000 FPS depending on your barrel length??

You don't have to have a Sierra manual if all you want is light loads with HP-38/W-2301.
