.45 acp carbine load ?

I Have a Marlin Camp .45 I've loaded 185grn JHP's with 7.4 grn of Unique and after installing a 16.5 lbs recoil spring I loaded to 7.7 grn of U. w/ standard large pistol primers, all with good results.
Now I'm trying a 200 grn SWC Cu plated , and I'm useing 10.0 grn. of Blue Dot and stanard LG. primers, again w/ good results . My Question is, Do I have another primer opption ?

You can use any large pistol primer be it standard or magnum, though for .45 acp loads you don't need a magnum pistol primer.

Large Rifle primers are too tall for a handgun cartridge and won't seat below the cartridge base.
