And a WEEK before I harvest a nice 6 point (western count) Blacktail I have my eye on. I will use a .224 Weatherby Varmint master with Weatherby Imperial scope. I have developed a Barnes Triple Shock 53 grain load at 3400fps at 20 feet which I have zero'd dead on at 200 yards. On at 50 yards and 2" low at 300yards. Just over an inch high at 100 yards. Get the picture? You hold on just behind shoulder up to the effective range of 300 yards and watch the pink mist! The load of Win 748 that I use is under max but has given me 3/4" groups during sighting in. I only have 15 loads left, so I better not miss!
