5 shot 44: S&W 69 or Ruger GP-100?

I spent the day cruising around gun shops and that helped cement my decision. One shop had the 5” Ruger and a 4” Taurus Tracker. The trigger shape and grip orientation immediately ruled out the Taurus. Another shop had a 4” 69 and one had the 2.75”. I liked the feel of the Smith over the Ruger, and there didn’t feel like much of a difference between the two barrel lengths. Being able to get s good price from a reputable dealer I’ve bought from before just sealed the deal for me.

I still haven’t handled a Charter Arms.

If I’m being honest I will probably end up with a Ruger and a Charter Arms anyway.
