That sounds like it could be good. I'm heading to the Metrolina show in CharlotteNC next month....and it promises to have around 600 tables. I don't know what that means, but it might just be big. :D

Let's hope we all score good buys!

Other (south) side of the interstate now... It's on the service road between the first two exits on the west side of the blank-check bridge.

I don't know if it could hold 500 tables or not... Only saw one thing (not a gun show) there, and it was pretty sad. But I do have to admit that I didn't hang around to see if the place was any larger.

LOL. Wonder if that's kinda like the Hall of Fame Show aka Sooner Show here. Their cards always proudly announce "1,200 exhibitors". When I called them on their BS once at a particularly lame show, they said that "exhibitors" means the number of chairs inside the vendor tables for the exhibitors. My gun nut buddy wants me to get a class action together and sue them for fraud (clearly it is), but nothing's happened yet.

Wow... that's about 3 miles away from my house.

It is off the 5th Street exit in St. Charles (just west of the MO River). The St. Charles Convention Center is brand new, and is attached to the Embassy Suites hotel on the south side of the interstate (just across the interstate from Bass Pro). That Convention Center is supposed to be pretty nice; I haven't been inside it yet.

Edit to add: The interstate I am referring to is I-70. I just realized I didn't spell that out.

I'll give it a shot ;) . I hope is isn't as lame as the shows at the banquet center.

Let's see; 500 tables, average exibitor uses 4 tables - 125 individual sellers. Not much for $7.

Am I wrong? How many actual sellers are there?

I just got back from the gun show and I must say that I was impressed by the amount and quality of exhibitors. The new convention center is fabulous and parking was easy (except for the huge volume of cars). The put on a great show and I'll be sure to attend future shows there.

st. louis weapons collectors shows are waste of time

there might be 500 tables but they have alot vendors selling other crap. :fire: they also posted a price for several months on a show then raised it a $1 at the entrance. they also do not give disabled vets or others a discount. most other shows do. also they charge for both days. all the other shows i go to you only pay 1 time and you get in both days. i think st. louis weapons collector shows are a waste of time and gas to drive to them.

Lots of stuff, but I can barely afford ammo right now.

I did buy an old kitchen knife (Ontario - Old Hickory) and three old copies of American Rifleman (.25 a piece).
