M1A at Fulton Armory! That is pretty expensive. I guess I have to buy one of those cheap cheek peices instead. Does anyone know where I can get a Mcmillan M3A stock for substantially cheaper?
I wonder if someone sells a kit to add a real adjustable cheek peice to the standard synthetic stock like the M3A? Maybe I should invent one.

Hunt around for a long while and you may catch one used. Otherwise I don't know of any better sources.

Awesome stocks though.

Tactical Stocks has periodic McMillan stuff in stock...one of the better prices going. And sometimes the McMillan Fiberglass Stocks website has specials. But I don't envision one being available for much less than what you said. The M3A isn't one of the "standard" stocks they make, like the M40AX series or the Remchester hunter stocks...stuff they know isn't going to sit on a shelf for too long due to a high demand or contract. You might get lucky on EBay or some of the military rifle BB's.

Other than that or buying one used on one of the other boards, you're kinda SOL. McMillan stocks are top of the line and in great demand by both civilians and the Govt. Contracts the McMBros are trying to fill. And you're wanting a very specific and unusual stock isn't helping you out much.

Ask around on the for sale board over at Sniper Country. Someone there may have one they are looking to get rid of.

I wanted one for my M1A as well. I don't want one that bad though...
