Ok guys question has anybody done any subsonic loads with a 6.5 Creedmoor me and a friend were tossing around ideas about this using a 160 grain round nose so question any ideas?

At this point it is just an idea not sure how much merit it would have just a couple of guys talking

1.2 on Berger’s stability factor for a Hornady Interlock RN 160 at 1050. I generally want a higher stability factor to avoid potential baffle strikes, but it might be worth a box to explore, if you really have a subsonic 6.5 Creed need. Of course, I’d be remiss to not point out the application will be limited. Pretty anemic hunting or defensive round, and I would guess we’re below the expansion demand of the bullet, so I’m not sure the niche it will fit.

I have a follow-up question with regard to the case.

Does the size of the case make it more or less suitable for subsoinic loading?
I would imagine a larger case to be more difficult to get low and steady with. Or perhaps the shape of a bottle neck has an impact, maybe straight walls are easier?

If it did work, one would have all the buzz words necessary to be a legendary Twenty Five ACP, suppressor, Creed, sub-sonic, six five, all that is left is a tactical use, and bacon!:)
Just funning, ya!

Serious about the question, though.
